Simon’s air bagged Holden VE ute
Simon’s Ute is a regular in our workshop. We previously fitted rear air bags and a heap of adjustable arms to help fit his crazy offset Work wheels under the guards.
This time around we finished off his air ride system with a set of our custom front struts built in house, a Level Ride Air Suspension 4 corner valve block and Slam Specialties switch box as well as twin VIAIR high performance compressors. We also added gauges in a panel that we made up to fit the centre console.
Also while the car was in the workshop we fitted up a camshaft package supplied by Troy from Warspeed Industries. Not chasing huge numbers, the emphasis was to make it sound as radical as it looks. With the standard air box and MAF it still punched out a stout 300RWKW on the LS Tuning & Performance Centre dyno.
Future plans include some interior attention and getting the front end dialed in some more to get that fitment spot on.
